Modern Luxury Media is seeking an organized, self-starting and cheerful Sales/Marketing Assistant to support our office. The position plays a critical role in the day-to-day affairs of the publisher, sales and marketing department. The work involves administrative tasks such as phones, filing, expenses, travel arrangements, as well as sales support functions for handling RFPs (requests for proposals), insertion orders, editorial credits, client communication and preparing competitive reports.

Responsibilities for office:
Database organization (filing)
Expenses
Request for proposals
Travel arrangements
Insertion orders
Editorial credits
Client communication
Competitive reports
Client gifting
Messenger/Postal Service/ Shipping
Intern management

Responsibilities for marketing:
Event assistance (RSVP Management and other misc. pre and post event logistics)
Online media updates for local magazine (Facebook/Photo Gallery)

Responsibilities for the Vice-Chairman:
Appointment setting and maintaining his schedule
Travel arrangements (flights, hotels, car services)
Weekly reports, etc

Skills:
Superb written and verbal communication skills
Problem solver

Efficient/impeccable attitude
Interest in sales and marketing
Passion/drive/commitment to work and learn additional valuable skills

Requirements
College graduate with minimum of 1-year office experience is required. Knowledge of the advertising/marketing field is preferred. Must be proficient in applications such as Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and the use of Macs.
