Forbes Media seeks a dynamic Advertising Salesperson with a successful track record of meeting and exceeding annual sales goals to join its sales team in New York for both print and online sales.

The Salesperson is primarily responsible for developing, implementing and managing Forbes’ advertising strategy, both from a business development and a sales perspective, to fulfill our strategic vision.

Applicant must have ~3 years of experience in identifying key decision-makers and building strong relationships. Candidate must be enthusiastic, articulate and organized with a proven track record of success managing advertising and media across multiple platforms.  The Salesperson must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Additionally, this candidate must possess excellent presentation and public speaking skills, strong industry contacts, quantitative analytical skills, solid closing skills, and the ability to work as part of a team to meet and exceed agreed upon revenue goals. The ideal candidate must be able to succeed in a very competitive selling environment.  Technology and/ or financial account experience is preferred. The major accounts that this list will include will be discussed during interviews.
