OK! Magazine is the only global celebrity weekly – boasting 22 International editions and over 2.6 million readers worldwide. OK! seeks a Designer to work in our dynamic and fast-paced Integrated Marketing Department.

This position will play an integral role in the creation of communications and promotional materials that drive revenue across the entire OK! brand portfolio including but not limited to print, digital, mobile and social media. The ideal candidate would be a creative, enthusiastic self-starter with strong design, organizational and interpersonal skills and a passion for graphic design in both print and digital media.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Design:

o Designs in-book units, invitations, logos/lock-ups, sales collateral, presentations, web pages and other free-standing design pieces.

o Utilizes excellent and sophisticated sense of typography and layout structure.

· Execution:

o Manages all aspects of project design – from conception through implementation.

o Provides pricing quotes from multiple vendors and negotiates most advantageous rates.

· Administrative:

o Keeps an ongoing database of suppliers and vendors (i.e., printers, paper suppliers, illustrators, etc.) that can fulfill and produce the multitude of design projects that may be required by the Integrated Marketing Department.

o Updates and maintains image library.

Qualifications:

· Degree in Graphic Design

· Meticulous and detail oriented with an exceptional ability to organize information and transform it graphically onto a page or screen

· A conceptual thinker with communications skills

· Able to multi-task and work within deadlines

· Dedicated, hard worker who can see projects through beginning to end

· Knowledge of CS2-5 programs, Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, PowerPoint, and Word — knowledge in web based programs a PLUS.
