Job Description:
The position manages the InStyle.com digital marketing staff, as well as a project list of his or her own. This includes concept development, proposal writing, execution and post-sale management of custom solutions for the site’s digital advertisers, who span fashion, retail, beauty and lifestyle categories. The position is central in both the day-to-day selling effort and on special initiatives, such as launches and extensions, and reports to the Director of Digital Sales & Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage digital marketing team members in the pre and post-sale implementation of solutions
• Serve as primary liaison with edit, product and legal teams for pre-sale approvals on custom solutions
• Manage marketing solutions for StyleFind.com and be the main marketing contact.
• Work with Marketing Director to develop most compelling audience positioning and sales story for the entire site and specific content areas
• Oversee development and maintenance of marketing collateral and research for key new products, categories and specials
• Capture category needs and proactively identify new digital opportunities that leverage edit, product and external vendor capabilities
• Analyze competitive sites and provide quarterly capability reviews — ad sizes, custom opportunities, new content areas
• Work with integrated marketing to develop programs across the brand
• Work with other Time Inc. titles to develop integrated, cross-brand concepts
• Participate in sales calls and other external meetings
• Oversee development of recaps/case studies post sale

Specific Attributes:
• At least 6-8 years of successful digital marketing and sales/support experience
• Creative and strategic thinker
• Excellent proposal and written communication skills
• Excellent post sale account management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to navigate matrixed environment
• Strong presentation skills; comfortable presenting to senior advertising partners
• Highly detail-oriented
• Flexible and able to adapt to change within newly evolving group
• Able to juggle and prioritize multiple projects
• Working knowledge and ability to interpret online metrics and research tools (i.e. comScore, @plan, Omniture)
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
