Video Intern:

The video intern will support the Programming Director and other Yoxi staff in the creation of video content, administration of video assets on Yoxi site, and social websites like Youtube, Facebook, and Vimeo.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

– Experience shooting video, preferably on HD format cameras and/or DSLR video cameras

– Experience with Final Cut or similar video editing software, including importing and logging footage for edit

– Practical understanding of editing theory in storytelling

– Knowledge of video formats and technical specifications used in production of video for web, including encoding formats for online presentation

– Researching, script-writing and interviewing experience

– Experience with sound for video in the production and post-production environment

– Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects

– Practical understanding and experience managing content on social video sites like Youtube, Facebook, and Vimeo

– Excellent work ethic and desire to excel in fast-paced start-up environment

– This internship is unpaid; A 30-Day Unlimited Ride MetroCard will be provided for each month the intern works for Yoxi
