Social Media Intern

– Work closely with Yoxi’s Community Coordinator to implement web-based PR and marketing activities, including blogs, tagging, social networking, viral marketing, search engine marketing, and other forms of electronic communication.

– Monitoring blogs and websites (entrepreneurship, social innovation, education, fashion, environment, disaster preparedness, news, etc.) to identify opportunities for Yoxi

– Finding relevant newsworthy articles for publication on Yoxi social networking sites

– Updating content and maintaining Yoxi presence on social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and Vimeo. Finding fans and followers, creating buzz, leading discussions, etc.

– Develop and maintain web and organizational partnerships to publicize Yoxi.

– Identify events and conferences relevant to Yoxi

– Additional duties as assigned

– This internship is unpaid; A 30-Day Unlimited Ride MetroCard will be provided for each month the intern works for Yoxi
