Job Description:
The Marketing & Audience Development team within Hearst Digital Media is looking for a Web Marketing Manager who will be responsible for subscription marketing and analysis both by managing current sources and developing new ones. Programs may include lead generation, affiliate marketing, search marketing and other third party partnerships. Responsibilities will include:
- Growing online subscription revenue by developing new sources of business
- Building and analyzing subscription and sweepstakes marketing campaigns
- Optimizing in-house tools to maximize campaign management and response
- Analyzing subscription response relative to web site traffic
The Web Marketing Manager will work closely with a variety of divisions within Hearst Magazines and Digital Media including Consumer Marketing, Editorial and Production/Development.
Hearst Magazines Digital Media, a unit of Hearst Magazines, is dedicated to creating and implementing the digital strategy for Hearst’s magazine brands and other sites which serve the company’s consumer audience. The unit has launched, re-launched or acquired 24 websites and 10 mobile sites for brands such as Cosmopolitan, Popular Mechanics, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Marie Claire and Seventeen, as well as digital-only sites such as Delish.com, a food site in partnership with MSN; TheDailyGreen.com; MisQuinceMag.com; RealBeauty.com; social shopping site Kaboodle.com; and consumer health site RealAge.com.
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate has prior internet marketing and/or online subscription marketing experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience using web-based analytics tools such as Omniture, WebTrends or similar a plus.
