Reporting to Art Director, the Designer is
responsible for:

• Design
o Assist in design execution of branded
materials such as:
Presentations; sell sheets/media kit; branded
promotion pages and client/consumer
mailings; signature events

o Work with requesting project manager to
create effective client materials such as:
advertorials and comps, mailings, event
collateral, eblasts, invitations

• Project management
o Work with requesting project managers
to create effective materials on deadline.
Manage project timelines to maintain said
deadlines.

• Production/administration
o Prep files for in-book pages and other
print materials
o Prep files for web and other digital
executions
o Work with vendors, from estimate
process through to finished product
o Research photos, fonts and manage
purchase of same

The successful candidate will have the
following experience:
• A minimum of 3 years experience in
marketing lifestyle/fashion/beauty
magazines
• Strong design skills; strong creative
concept skills a plus
• Strong project management and
communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects and
work under pressure
• Knowledge of offset printing
• Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop,
Illustrator, Power Point. Knowledge of
Dreamweaver and Flash a plus
