§ Provide the Marketing Department and Sales Teams with the best Brand/Advertiser sales story possible to help them go out into the market and sell print, digital and online

§ Utilize a variety of Syndicated and Secondary research sources to keep our Brands ahead of the curve and differentiated from the competitive set with business and consumer insights

§ Work in tandem with Primary researchers for the Brand(s) on special projects and for inclusion of available information in any and all sales stories

§ Provide proof of the value of our brands multi-platform offerings (print, online and digital) and the richness of our consumers. The research sources utilized and the stories created are ever-changing and specific to the brand, advertiser, target and category.

§ We’re looking for a creative thinker with a sense of curiosity and flair for solving challenging questions and situations with innovative thinking and new strategic ways to position our brands

Do you have what it takes?

• Must be passionate and experienced with all forms of Media

• Must be proficient and creative with MRI, Starch AdMeasure and Vista Affinity resources

• Need to be able to see the forest through the trees to solve for the bigger picture.

• A dynamic individual that is both right and left brained. Must be equally marketing savvy and analytical.

• Must have excellent written and presentation skills and the ability to form and communicate insights clearly either in person or in written documents in a knowledgeable/confident manner, as this position is called upon by Publishers, Marketing and Sales for their expertise, opinion and guidance.

§ This position requires the ability to turn a variety of syndicated data/numbers into well written, easily understandable facts with informed insights and/or brand selling strategies to be shared with Publishers, Marketing, Sales, and External Clients.

§ Must exercise common sense and judgment to determine how best to deliver Client requests for information in an efficient manner (Email, PowerPoint, Bullet Points).

§ Need to be forward thinking and not only provide the specific answers to specific questions but, be able to think ahead and provide answers to questions that may arise from the request.

§ Must be very comfortable working with numbers.

Previous Work Experience: Minimum 5-10 years experience in Research, Media, Publishing or Marketing

Education: Bachelor Degree

Technical Skills: Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Word
