Senior Integrated Marketing Manager – Real Simple July 21, 2011
Reports to: Integrated Marketing Director
Based on category assignments, the Senior Manager will collaborate with both the print and online sales teams to develop and execute custom, cross-platform marketing solutions. The position combines creative “big” idea/platform creation, partnership development, presentation skills and program execution to leverage the REAL SIMPLE brand as a vital media partner.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, communicate and execute custom marketing programs
- Write integrated marketing proposals across REAL SIMPLE brand assets
- Act as a liaison between internal departments and vendors to develop and execute programs
- Manage a team of two direct reports and work with them to grow category business and create category specific programs
- Accompany sales reps and/or marketing management on sales calls to present marketing platforms and client-specific opportunities
- Manage project budgets
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 – 7 years marketing experience, preferably in media/advertising
- Candidate must be an enthusiastic creative thinker and team player with a solid knowledge of marketing and the media business
- Must be resourceful, proactive, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written, verbal and organizational skills
- Knowledge of and passion for tracking trends including social networking, digital and mobile
- Ability to Travel
- Computer skills including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
