Job Description: Digital Sales Director for US/Canada, specializing in Luxury Hospitality

Position Sales Director is responsible for managing assigned account list, multiplying account list, and meeting revenue goals. Must develop compelling sales pitches and serve as the key company contact for client relationships. Position requires ability to work with high level demanding clients. Successful person will have an adapt style, calm disposition, methodical, detail oriented personality. Reports to CEO.

Responsibilities • Effectively and aggressively manage all aspects of the sales cycle • Identify new clients and opportunities, prospecting, pursuing leads and developing new client relationships • Establish a pipeline of business and maintain an accurate forecast • Negotiate contracts and closing opportunities • Submit weekly/monthly sales forecasts • Regularly manage agency/client relationships • Regularly report advertising sales revenue and CPM analysis to CEO and SVP

Critical Competencies for Success: • Broad network of contacts in Luxury Hospitality arena required • Ability to work independently, while being open to direction and guidance • Intelligent, motivated self starter with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic • Creative, marketing-oriented media seller with a passion for what the Internet can bring to high-end luxury and arts/

cultural advertisers • Ability to represent and promote company in a professional manner and demonstrate value added service to clients • Excellent communication (written/verbal), negotiation, persuasion, closing, presentation and follow up skills • Outstanding relationship building and partnering skills • Thorough understanding of “white glove” client service, and prior experience required • Proven track record of closing large custom deals • Experience with a “community” or social networking a plus • Experience in a start up environment helpful • Ability to generate and manage 3 mm in revenue • Excellent analytical skills for client objectives and analyzing campaign performance • Ability to be flexible in a start-up work environment and to deliver under pressure

Skills/Requirements/Experience • Bachelor’s Degree • 5 years of digital ad sales experience with a leading Web Portal or leading content publisher. • Additional 2-4 years of traditional media sales experience — print, broadcast, cable, etc, or marketing position. • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
