W is looking for a freelance Strategic Partnerships/Events Manager responsible for supporting the promotion department’s creative needs including copy, promotional materials & events.

Specific duties include:

· Produce and execute custom merchandising events and programs

· Manage relationships and events involving our W’s Brand Ambassadors and charity partners

· Oversee budgets for all assigned projects and events

· Responsible for creating, managing and editing all copy needs for the department, including proposal/program templates, special sections/advertorials, client communications, sell sheets and email blasts

· Assist with the souring, production and distribution of all premium items

· Maintain relationships with premium vendors

· Assist with the creation of a W “style guide”

Skills:

· 3+ years of experience, preferably in magazine sales/marketing and fashion industry

· Background in luxury event execution required

· Background in copy writing & editing preferred

· Strong skill set in creative writing, organization and communication is essential to excel in this position

· Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

· An understanding of the editorial product and fashion industry are also highly recommended for this position
