We are seeking a highly organized candidate to join the premedia department. In this role, you will work closely with the premedia and Production staff to ensure that all work is completed on schedule. This position will act as a liaison with internal departments such as operations, editorial/art, marketing and account management, as well with external partners; engravers and printers. We’re looking for someone who is highly organized and self-motivated. This position will require solid iPad production skills, formatting and creating templates, and juggling multiple concurrent activities in a deadline driven environment managing others. He/she must be able to route copy/layouts, coordinate approvals, maintain efficient back up files, and check files for accuracy and handle all coordinating activities with engraver and printers.

A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years solid work experience in production, traffic or project management capacity required. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat Professional; design skills a plus. The ability to build strong/positive relationships with internal and external colleagues and partners is essential.

This is a freelance position: 2-3 month commitment, with the potential for extension.
