Position Summary: The Custom Integrated Marketing Manager position is a senior marketing and client management position in our organization, responsible for leading a team, accountable for project and client P&L, relationship building, leading integrated marketing strategies across platforms and media, campaign and content development and management, and business analysis.

The ideal Custom Integrated Marketing Manager is a highly passionate, collaborative, outgoing, creative oriented leader who is constantly seeking solutions and best practices for our clients and prospective marketing prospects and partners.   A seasoned candidate will demonstrate the following responsibilities:

Core Duties/Responsibilities:

Provide Strategic and Marketing Leadership

Works with client to uncover business needs and objectives, craft appropriate strategies, and identifies/implements solutions to help achieve client goals.

Builds teams both internally and externally with necessary skills and experience to execute client marketing objectives.

Develop the importance of digital marketing strategies in the overall marketing mix for client.  Execute on strategies and initiatives.

Create and interpret effective analysis to support marketing recommendations.

Develop broad industry expertise.

Grow Sunset’s Custom Integrated Marketing Solutions product offering and client base

Work closely with Sunset’s sales team and executive leadership to identify prospective new clients and develop strategies, P&L, and proposals for prospects.

Stay at the forefront of new media platforms and marketing integrations including social, mobile, digital, events and print.

Build and Grow Client Relationships

Understand clients’ business and generate new ideas to enhance client performance.

Develop multi-tiered client relationships and ties. Build trust, credibility, and alliances within agencies and constituencies.

Work closely with Sunset’s advertising teams (inside and display) to maximize revenue, relationships and communication between teams.

Effectively Manage a Team

Manage a team of two editorial, design and production staff.

Foster teamwork and a constructive work environment.

Provide team leadership that rewards creativity.

Effectively manage remote staff.

Manage Financial Performance

Achieve client targets within the context of the underlying opportunity.

Maintain or improve account profitability.

Work with business office to develop most profitable businesses.

Maximize staff performance by leveraging talent across Sunset initiatives.

Contribute to the Firm

Balance client demands with participation in broader Sunset initiatives.

Experience:

* College degree required, MBA preferred
* Approximately 5+ years of related industry experience, preferably brand or direct marketing experience at an advertising agency or client company, or product management at a client company
* Approximately 7+years of business experience
* Demonstrated track record of client relationship development and service
* Proven experience in managing teams working cross-functionally within an organization
* Strong knowledge or experience in digital businesses, content management, account management/coordination, client/campaign strategy, and media planning.
* Strong interpersonal/communication skills
