· Must be proficient in market research analysis and creatively approach syndicated research data (MMR, PIB, ABC, VISTA, etc.) to integrate relevant insights and trends for ultimate use in the marketplace and internally by senior management
· Direct the implementation of quantitative primary subscriber research. Coordinate all phases from initial objects, questionnaire design and development, analyzing results and create subsequent presentations and materials. Present finding to internal staff, clients and potential advertisers
· Create compelling numbers story for Town&Country that will show Town&Country in the best quantitative light against competitors
· Analyze all available research materials and develop credible alternatives that best position Town&Country quantitatively to maintain and build advertising share of market
· Assist in the development of strategies that enable Town&Country to increase business in endemic and non-endemic categories
· Provide market research information on advertisers to support the sales staff
Specific Duties
· Analyze syndicated research and create sales sheets, presentations, and other materials for sales staff
· Develop primary research reports to support sales efforts in key advertising categories under the direction of senior sales and marketing management
· Track competitive advertising expenditures and prepare reports for management to identify areas of opportunity
· Identify market trends to leverage new business
· Make sales calls and presentations to help position Town&Country favorably from a quantitative standpoint
· Oversee all aspects of Town&Country’s Reader Panel, including providing response results for all participating clients
· Handle day-to-day research requests from sales staff
Specialized/Technical Knowledge
· Fluency in all syndicated services as well as ABC, PIB, Monroe Mendelsohn, etc.
· Survey design and analysis
· Database management
· Web-related programs (e.g., HTML)
