Job Description:
This role is responsible for all aspects of New Product Development within Time Home Entertainment Inc., as follows:
• The objective is to grow THEI income from 3rd party brands outside of Time Inc, and from home-grown THEI brands
• Management of and collaboration with the Research, Editorial, Production, PR and the Sales and Distribution functions, liaising daily with those departments, to achieve projects on time and on budget
• Management of a department of a couple of people
• Responsibility for the P/L of the business
• Development of ebooks for the brands where appropriate
The Person:
The Director, New Product Development position requires a mix of entrepreneurial spirit and a proven track record of running businesses. We are looking for someone who can not only strike new deals and grow the business but can also run those new programs through to completion.
