Associate Director, Business Insights/Sales Development – All You March 12, 2012
ALL YOU/AllYou.com is seeking a creative professional to lead ALL YOU’s brand strategy and development and execution of all brand communications. As an award-winning brand, ALL YOU is the largest monthly magazine sold in Walmart and one of the fastest growing content brands in the media industry.
The Associate Director will be responsible for communicating ALL YOU’s brand positioning in the marketplace, including the development of general and category presentations, sales materials and trade communications. The ideal candidate thinks strategically and creatively to turn facts and statistics into compelling brand stories. In addition, candidate will work directly with marketing and sales to grow magazine and online revenues. Position will partner with Associate Publisher of Sales to develop brand strategy/communications and reports directly to Integrated Marketing Director.
Responsibilities:
• Develop compelling, concise brand materials to bring ALL YOU’s unique editorial platform, consumer engagement and proven 360 marketing programs to life in the marketplace.
• Create general presentations, category presentations (beauty, pharma, auto, etc.), sales materials and trade communications showcasing how ALL YOU provides marketers with maximum ROI.
• Work closely with Time Inc. Research & Insights and Shopper Marketing networks to gain the background and research that best supports ALL YOU’s story – including audience, competitive position, shopper insights, etc.
• Partner with two Account Managers on sales development. Understand client goals, objectives, timing and budgets to develop smart integrated proposals to drive business in-magazine and online.
• Conceptualize creative integrated marketing solutions leveraging ALL YOU’s full portfolio of assets including print, online, email, tablet, mobile and social marketing; write strategic proposals for a broad array of advertisers including program concepts, benefits and requirements.
Qualifications:
– Exceptional writing skills along with strong creative marketing and storytelling skills.
– Portfolio of highly original, clear and compelling communications.
– 7+ years of related media marketing experience, including presentation development, research and brand strategy.
– Possess working knowledge of research tools (MRI, Ad Measure, MMR, ABC, PIB, @plan, comScore, etc.).
– Strong knowledge of the magazine, marketing and media business.
– Creative sensibility and proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
– Digital experience and understanding of Shopper Marketing industry a plus.
– A love of teamwork and a desire to contribute to a positive, enjoyable work environment.
