Overview
The Events & Promotions Manager will work directly with the AP, Creative Services Director and Senior Events Manager to ideate, execute both internal and external events and merchandising programs.
Brides Events & Promotions Manager
Strategic Development
  • With AP, Creative Services Director and Senior Events Manager conceptualize and create signature and custom event programs
  • Develop strategic partnerships, resulting in a “rolodex” of partner opportunities for Brides
  • Work with all Brides departments as a pro-active team member, serving as a promotion and events resource and actively participating in brainstorms and follow-through
Merchandising Execution
  • Produce and execute all signature event programs and custom merchandising event programs
  • Work with PR to extend press coverage for relevant programs
Events
  • Produce and execute client entertaining events
  • Produce and execute internal events such as national sales meetings, holiday party, staff celebrations/occasions
  • Produce and execute trade and industry events such trade shows, event sponsorships, etc.
Management
  • Together with the Senior Events and Promotions Manager, oversee and make assignments to Promotions Coordinator
Special Projects
·         Management of mobile snaptag program
·         Other digital projects on case by case basis
Budget
  • Manage and update promotion budget on a monthly basis
The ideal candidate will have 3 years previous experience in events and promotion planning within a related industry.
