This candidate is an integral leader of a dynamic, cross-functional consumer marketing team focused on creating innovative, strategic, integrated sales strategies for WebMD’s partners and advertisers that drive revenue results.

Above all else, the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing is accountable for managing a team that produces marketing solutions that successfully deliver against our clients’ marketing goals and objectives and that assist in achieving WebMD’s yearly sales growth across Bio-Pharma, Medical Device and Consumer Package Goods clients.  Your interactions with WebMD’s customers, ongoing understanding of competitive landscape, and understanding and application of audience and site analytics will define the strategy for you and members of your team.

The Senior Director of Integrated Marketing is an independent, organized and creative thinker who is confident and capable of interacting with colleagues at all levels and with our top tier clients and agencies. This candidate will be accountable for the on-going management of a portfolio of concurrent projects from conceptual design through to client pitch and contractual delivery.  Your skill in managing your teams’ efforts across cross-functional departments including sales, editorial, engineering, web services, product development, product marketing, design, best practices and print teams will be key to your success.

As Senior Director of Integrated Marketing you bring the ability to mentor, manage and motivate a seasoned marketing team that thrives in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects simultaneously, and you will represent this team across the organization. Online marketing experience, strategic planning, management skills and an understanding of the digital landscape are a must.

Responsibilities

  • Support the success of meeting sales growth goal while managing director level Marketing professionals.
  • Mentor, lead and manage a team responsible for responding to the daily influx of solution development requests across pharmaceutical, medical device and consumer package goods markets;
  • Deliver creative and strategic marketing solutions for our top tier Clients that span multiple media platforms including our highly differentiated online advertising media and product solutions
  • Manage departmental operations; improve efficiency, communication and internal constructs related to the presales process.  Serve as group liaison to our client delivery services, editorial and product marketing teams
  • Deliver ongoing analysis and reports to create visibility into sales pipeline as related to deals closing
  • Develop strategic approach to solutions that optimize new sales and sales renewals
  • Provide ongoing leadership in evaluating performance of strategic solutions to deliver insights, trends and recommendations to senior management team
  • Develop client-facing solution presentations, marketing materials and proposals

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent related field
  • Overall Experience: 10+ years or equivalent experience in online and digital sales development/solution marketing
  • Proven success in creating marketing solutions that impact sales growth
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive and self-sufficient professional with the ability to motivate and drive a team of intelligent, creative, and opinionated colleagues
  • Knowledge and/or background in Internet technologies
  • Ability to thrive and maintain calm in a perpetually fast-paced environment
