Summer Marketing Internship at AFAR Media
Marketing Intern – reports to Integrated Marketing Director.

The Ideal Candidate: Is a self-starter who takes charge of projects and sees them through to completion; Appreciates a fast-paced, team environment; Has excellent written and oral communication skills; Demonstrates creativity as well as sound organization; Has great interpersonal skills and enjoys working with people; Is proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software; graphic and desktop publishing software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat); Working for course credit.

Responsibilities Include:
Assist Integrated Marketing Director with brand development initiatives, research and events:

· Assist with RFPs: research and brainstorm proposals
· Implement new presentation updates – including client presentations;
· Provide online marketing support – calendar postings, blog updates, etc.
· Assist with sales meetings and consumer events

Salary Unpaid/Course Credit – must be enrolled in a College or University
Timing June 4 – August 29
5 days a week preferred
