Overview
Condé Nast is seeking a smart, talented and creative media professional to join the team at TEEN VOGUE as a Marketing Manager/ Senior Marketing Manager for a full-time staff position.
The Marketing Manager/Senior Marketing Manager will report directly to the Associate Publisher, Marketing to provide marketing insight and sales development tools for TEEN VOGUE’s national sales staff. As a key member of the organization, you’ll create effective sales tools that position TEEN VOGUE within the advertising marketplace and give the brand a competitive edge.

Our dynamic audience and their incredible level of engagement will give you first-hand knowledge of constantly shifting millennial trends and the ability to work on fulfilling projects.
General responsibilities include:
  • Running syndicated research runs and developing effective stories from the data, conducting custom research, interpret market data, and incorporating the information into compelling sales materials.
  • Responding to brand and research sections of RFPs, and writing/developing presentations
  • Working on category research pitches to secure advertising.
  • Developing smart innovative ways to provide insight and marketing solutions for individual clients.
  • Developing research initiatives with TEEN VOGUE’s It Girls – the largest reader panel of its kind.
About You
Our ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced  environment and knows research like the back of their hand.  While you have a demonstrated fondness for organization and detail, you’re also great at crafting a compelling story.  You’ll bring a strong understanding of all advertising categories, the media industry, and digital media to our team.  We want someone who likes having a great deal of autonomy but can also work well with other people and departments.  At least five years of Magazine research/marketing experience is preferred, but strong Agency- related marketing experience will be considered.
Additional requirements:
  • Strong writing and public speaking skills
  • Strong, working knowledge of major syndicated research tools such as MRI.  Ability to use New Age is a plus.
  • Primary research skills.
  • Knowledge of Sales Graphics’ Custom Show software a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office software (especially PowerPoint & Excel).  Mac & PC proficient.
  • Bachelors Degree
