Arthur Frommer’s Budget Travel is looking for eager, responsible students with an interest in print and online media to assist with various important sales & marketing duties over the summer months. Ideal candidates are creative self-starters who take charge of assignments and see them through to completion.

Design Intern

The ideal candidate is proficient in InDesign, PhotoShop and Illustrator and has a keen eye for what makes good design in a magazine and on a website.

Responsibilities include:

· Creation of sales materials

· Creation of mockups and comps for the magazine

· Creation of mockups and comps for the website

· Other duties as needed

Sales & Marketing Intern

The ideal candidate is well-organized, proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and is interested in what makes a magazine run from the business side.

Responsibilities include:

· Working with the Digital Sales Planning Manager to implement e-newsletters

· Working on client proposals and presentations

· Working on social media initiatives

· Other duties as needed

Details:

· Location: Midtown Manhattan

· Positions report to the Integrated Marketing Director

· Salary Unpaid/Course Credit

· Must be enrolled in a College or University

· Timing June 11–August 24; some flexibility possible

· 2-3 days a week

· Candidate is responsible for ensuring he or she receives course credit from their institution
