Condé Nast seeks a Associate Marketing Director for a full-time staff position.

Overview/Purpose

Associate Marketing Director, Bon Appétit Marketing is responsible for brand management, strategic marketing and sales development. As a key member of the organization, responsibilities would include creating effective sales tools that position the Bon Appétit within the marketplace for advertisers, clients and consumers.

Day to day responsibilities include: Developing advertising strategies that support key categories of growth for the brand including food, beauty, home, automotive, luxury, finance and pharmaceuticals Creating presentations and being the primary liaison with account managers to develop smart and innovative ways to provide insight and marketing solutions for individual clients Conducting proprietary research for Bon Appétit and for key clients with outside firms and with the Bon Appétit Reader panel Reader Panel development and social media initiatives Day to day management of Marketing Manager A strong understanding of food, cooking, dining out and the advertising media industry is a plus. Desired candidates will have a positive attitude, attention to detail and a desire to grow within a new brand. The Associate Marketing Director will directly manage the Marketing Manger and report into the Marketing Director within the team of 3.

Requirements 5+ years of magazine, agency or media related marketing experience Strong working knowledge of major syndicated research studies including MRI, MMR, JD power, Omniture and ComScore MS Office and Adobe In Design proficiency Strong writing and analytical skills with attention to detail 4 year bachelors degree
