AFAR Media, an experiential travel company, is looking for a Graphic Designer to
join our team in New York.

AFAR Media is a multi-media company developing a series of
complementary products and services, including an award-winning travel
magazine.

Our mission is to inspire and guide those who travel the world
seeking to connect with its people, experience their cultures, and
understand their perspectives.

Reporting to the CMO, the graphic designer will be a part
of our marketing department. The candidate should have a strong graphic design portfolio that demonstrates a sophisticated sense of typography and layout structure:

We are looking for someone who is a
— conceptual thinker and can take a project from concept to execution.
— is an excellent communicator
— is a strong, fast designer with a passion for travel magazines,
invitations, logos, and collateral.
— is able to multitask and work within deadlines
— has a fluency in CS2-5, Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop,
Acrobat, Powerpoint, and Word
— knowledge in web based programs will be a plus

Qualifications: BFA in Graphic Design
Experience: 5-8 years
