Chronicle Books seeks an experienced online marketer to drive traffic, conversion and revenue for MyChronicleBooks, a new line of personalized books and gifts for kids at www.mychroniclebooks.com. This role works closely with the product development, web site, IT, and marketing teams as well as outside agencies to build an integrated marketing plan across multiple online and offline marketing and publicity platforms. The Senior E-Commerce Marketing Manager will develop and execute creative strategies and marketing initiatives that include promotions, social media, online advertising, publicity, email, and SEO campaigns.

The Senior E-Commerce Marketing Manager will develop a key understanding of the MyChronicleBooks personalization demographic and audience and develop a plan to:
• Reach new customers, improve their experience and create repeat business
• Drive revenue, qualified traffic and grow customer acquisition
• Focus on product positioning and messaging that differentiates our business in the market
• Create annual, quarterly and monthly marketing plan across all marketing platforms
• Integrate SEO, PPC, Social Media, Email marketing, blog partners, and customer acquisition plans
• Report monthly on results

QUALIFICATIONS
• 5-7 years e-commerce marketing experience
• 5-7 years in creating online marketing strategy and plans
• Solid understanding of e-commerce and direct to consumer marketing
• Strong strategic thinking combined with great execution
• Excellent writing and copy writing skills
• Strong project management skills
• Strong collaboration, communication and presentation skills; ability to present to many different levels of company management
