The Health franchise reaches 14 million engaged consumers across print, digital and social media platforms. Health.com, a leader in engagement amongst health information and lifestyle sites with over 4MM UVs, is looking for an experienced, energetic, and strategic account management professional. Responsibilities will include key digital media planning, yield management, and ad product development activities including pricing, inventory management, performance reporting and project management.

Additionally, this person will direct relationships with internal teams on pre-sale development and post-sales campaign implementation and optimization. The role manages a staff of two.

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

• Lead media planning process and partner with Health Marketing team to integrate media plans into RFP responses.
• Develop efficient and effective pricing models based on quarterly analysis of supply and demand, maintain the rate card, and price production costs for all inventory across the site.
• Create efficient working models to project inventory avails and maintain an inventory reservation system.
• Creatively package sales offerings while monetizing unsold inventory
• Work closely with the Time Inc Ad Operations team to plan, launch and successfully traffic, manage, monitor, and optimize campaigns for each client on a day-to-day basis.
• Coordinate with Health.com Audience Development and Edit teams daily to deliver advertiser campaigns.
• Coordinate with Health.com management and edit production teams to ensure proper planning and scheduling of ad-supported online packages.
• Manage and update performance and pipeline reports.
• Lead ad sales product development process in collaboration with the product, edit, and tech teams.
• Develop and oversee production of custom units and products, and other non-standard advertising programs for clients.
• Pull digital research for marketing materials and proposals
• Partner with Director, Digital Ad Sales on development of sales strategies and target account initiatives.
• Serve as digital media and product monetization expert within organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidates must have at least 5-7 years of successful online sales development or relevant web operations experience.
• Experienced management of sales planning and account team members preferred.
• Experience within the health vertical is preferred
• Must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills, and be an enthusiastic team player.
• A solid grasp of online inventory management and ad serving processes is required.
• Must possess a working knowledge of the online metrics and research tools used in the marketplace (i.e. Dart, Atlas, comScore, Omniture, @Plan, Salesforce.com, AdFront, Double Verify, etc).
• Strong quantitative skills for analysis of this data also required.
• Strong time management and organizational skills are essential.
• Requires excellent computer skills in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
