The Lifestyle Group seeks a seasoned, strategic Vice President for a critical leadership role in the development and execution of brand platforms across all Lifestyle Group brands’ (including All You, Cooking Light/MyRecipes, Health, Real Simple, This Old House, Coastal Living, Southern Living, and Sunset) print and digital assets as well as the ongoing development of marketing and sales collateral and tools.

As a key member of the Brand Management team, the VP will work seamlessly with all divisions within the brands including: edit, on-line, sales, public relations, finance, consumer marketing, other internal resources and external vendors. The VP will lead a team in developing and implementing a marketing strategy and plan which provides comprehensive marketing programs and sales development tools.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the strategy and day-to-day direction for the Lifestyle Group Marketing team and marketing programs for the Lifestyle Group
• Works closely with the SVP, Group Publisher and Lifestyle Group Marketing leads on developing creative program solutions, category packages, and client specific proposals
• Responsible for marketing budget, staff training, evaluation and development
• Responsible for program development (ie: “big ideas”) and their execution across all categories
• Strengthen existing and develop new strategic partnerships for integrated marketing and promotional events, sales/brand positioning materials and presentations, and added value/merchandising
• Development of brand platform strategies and revenue growth strategies

Qualifications:

• Must be a creative thinker that is organized and possesses strong communication and presentation skills
• Must have ability to effectively multi-task and work collaboratively with several divisions such as sales, digital, broadcast, marketing, as well as edit
• Strong motivator with proven experience managing staff and teams
• Proven record in cross-functional collaboration and brainstorm
• Equally willing to be both a creative thinker and hands-on executer. Is adept at delegating with clear direction
• 8-10 years experience in magazine or client side marketing
