Role:

Latina seeks a strategic, creative and experienced digital integrated marketing professional to join the Integrated Marketing team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, is enthusiastic about the Latin market and ready to conceive, communicate and execute compelling and ROI-driven marketing programs for our advertising partners. All programming will maximize the power of the Latina Media Ventures brands: Latina, Latina.com and TheLatinKitchen.com. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ideation: Conceptualizing, writing & executing integrated & digital marketing proposals and multi-platform programs for all LMV properties (Latina Magazine, Latina.com and TheLatinKitchen.com). Proactively develop programs that are exclusive to Latina properties and deliver accountable results.
  • Collaboration: Work with sales and marketing counterparts to ideate, develop and implement integrated media strategy, including executing solid digital marketing programs with specialization in digital, mobile & social platforms; but can include print and experiential, where applicable. Proactively seek opportunistic digital partnerships and unique programming with the focus on generating revenue. Regularly staying informed of digital business and industry news and share with management and sales.
  • Development: Develop integrated marketing proposals for new business cross a variety of selling categories. Includes collaborative and individual ideation. Strong marketing/proposal writing and layout are a MUST. Work with team on development and marketing of digital properties and products.
  • Oversee the creation of digital marketing materials to promote Latina.com and TheLatinKitchen.com including sales collateral, presentations and one-sheets.
  • Secure, implement and track all online barter initiatives and trade-based partnerships (including negotiation of affiliate partnerships, launch support, conversion tracking etc.)
  • Execution: Project manage digital marketing programs that could include sponsored content, custom videos, sweepstakes/contests, blogger programs, etc… Work with respective departments to ensure program execution is performing and meeting the defined KPIs. Manage outside 3rd party vendors and freelancers on projects, to achieve successful and cost-effective outcomes. Manage to budgets.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree Required
  • Must have minimum 7+ yrs experience in integrated marketing with a specialty in digital marketing.
  • Must have very strong knowledge of digital: from operations to web advertising units/capabilities to implementation of digital marketing concepts as well as knowledge and comfort with all social media platforms, apps, and tablet platforms for media/publishing.
  • Creative thinker who can carry ideas from conception to execution.
  • Familiarity and ability to run research within ComScore, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Familiarity with ad trafficking and DFP a plus but not required
  • Understanding of primary and syndicated research a plus
  • Highly organized individual who can keep to deadline while working on multiple projects.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to successfully weave one concept/theme through several integrated platforms.
  • A team player who can effectively collaborate closely with many different personalities and a positive and can-do attitude to their work.
