Looking for an experienced circulation professional to plan and execute print and digital strategies to help grow circulation and ancillary revenues. Including: direct mail campaigns, email promotions, in-book, and online initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have strong strategic planning experience balanced with the ability to execute the campaigns developed and be bottom line oriented.

Responsibilities:
Develop & execute circulation strategy (including direct mail, web, in-book and e-mail efforts) in a multi-title environment.

Compose all marketing copy and direct creative resources.

Oversee the tracking and reporting of results from marketing initiatives, and make recommendations on how to improve response.

Collaborate with senior management on developing new paid product opportunities.

Develop and manage applicable expense budgets.

Develop and prepare applicable internal metrics reports.

Manage department direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years paid audience development experience required.

Minimum 5+ years consumer marketing experience with multi-title magazine publisher.

Solid writing skills with the ability to craft cogent, persuasive copy.

Well balanced experience in direct mail, web, in-book, email & social media marketing.

Ability to work independently.

Marketing Manager

We’re looking for an energetic, experienced professional to work with our talented and passionate team. The ideal candidate will provide overall marketing support and sales development strategy to the Ad Sales staff to solve solutions for clients, as well as supporting an overall brand strategy for The Bonnier Mountain Group. The candidate must have experience working with print and online custom/syndicated research.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Create, in tandem with the research department, sales materials including presentations, sell sheets, and targeted direct mail efforts for both RFP’s and category development
Work, in conjunction with sales, research and management, to evaluate the state of the category, identify opportunity and develop category strategies
Complete immersion in the trade news/developments within the designated industries to become a category expert for the sales team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and minimum four years of related experience.

Additionally, qualified candidates will have:
– Specific knowledge and understanding of marketing, research, development of sales materials and the magazine sales process.
– Ability to juggle numerous projects at once under deadline pressure.
– Strong computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
– Knowledge of all major syndicated research studies.
