  • Work with sales partners to write merchandising proposals in response to advertiser RFPs (primary categories: Health, Associations, Automotive, Technology and Retail)
  • Research and implement merchandising and added-value programs including sweepstakes, GWPs, in-book promotions etc.
  • Create, manage and execute in-book sections including customized advertorials and special advertising sections
  • Develop sales materials and presentations for the Good Housekeeping brand
  • Brainstorm “big ideas” for specific clients and new programs
  • Attend sales calls to present marketing ideas when necessary


Required Skills
Requires excellent writing, communication and self-editing skills, organizational abilities, and creative thinking.  Must be detail-oriented, flexible, responsive, motivated, enthusiastic, and a team-player.  Must have knowledge and interest in digital, apps and social media. Knowledge of Custom Show is a plus.

Required Experience
Bachelor degree and minimum of 2 years experience writing merchandising proposals.

Ad Ops Manager – The Nielsen Company

Key Responsibilities:

The Ad Ops Manager position will work closely with the sales team & clients to deliver online advertising campaigns. The job requires daily use of DoubleClick’s DFP ad serving system, managing and tracking campaign delivery using daily reports, and providing reporting and weekly campaign delivery updates to sales and clients. Understanding of online advertising industry and/or html is a plus.

· Work with advertisers and sales reps to obtain campaign assets and provide support for creative related inquiries/issues.

· Verify technical specifications, QA, service and troubleshoot complex ad creative that involves elements such as rich media, video, and third party tags.

· Schedule and maintain ad delivery for online advertising campaigns. Monitor to ensure that campaigns are set up properly based on insertion orders, red flagging errors and/or discrepancies.

· Manage order revisions, creative changes, and assist sales team & clients with reporting.

· Perform end of month reporting & billing reconciliation.

· Ability to interpret business goals and turn them into actionable items

· Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· 2+ years experience with DoubleClick’s Dart DFP ad serving platform required… no resumes will be considered without DFP experience

· Bachelor degree in Marketing, Advertising or Business

· Understanding of ad tag syntax

· Interest in advertising and technology is a plus

· Proficient in using Excel for generating and modifying reports

· Knowledge of Google Analytics a plus

· Strong verbal and written communication skills to keep all brands abreast of new process, procedures, reporting, etc

· Excellent project management, attention to detail and ability to prioritize

· Positive, can-do attitude

Associate Integrated Marketing Manager – All You January 3, 2011

All You, the award winning brand for the everyday, value-driven woman is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Associate Integrated Marketing Manager.

The Associate Integrated Marketing Manager will work directly with 2 – 3 integrated account managers on a variety of accounts, and will be responsible for developing, managing and executing multi-platform proposal requests and custom programs. In addition, this role will be responsible for overseeing ALL YOU’s added value programs and strategy. The AIMM will report directly to two Senior Integrated Marketing Managers.

Responsibilities:

– Act as sales development lead for 2 – 3 Integrated Account Managers

– Conceptualize creative integrated marketing solutions and added-value programs that provide advertisers with return on objective. These programs may include custom print, online, promotional and/or research components

– Write compelling, well-thought-out proposals for a broad variety of advertisers that effectively communicate program concepts and requirements

– Attend client sales calls to present integrated marketing programs

– Execute programs once they are activated, ensuring the client’s brand, the ALL YOU brand and the program are properly represented

– Act as liaison between internal departments and vendors to develop and execute programs

– Conceptualize, communicate and fulfill added value programs

– Assist Senior Integrated Marketing Managers on a variety of brand specific and client programs

– Develop relationships with third party organizations and vendors to enhance arsenal of integrated marketing programs

Qualifications:

– Candidate must be an enthusiastic creative thinker and team player with a solid knowledge of marketing and the media business.
– Must be resourceful, proactive, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
– Strong written, verbal and organizational skills
– Bachelor’s degree required
– 3 years marketing experience, preferably in media/advertising
– Computer skills including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
