Candidate will help develop, manage and execute multi-platform proposal requests and custom programs for specific categories.

Responsibilities:
• Writing marketing proposals, sell sheets, in-book units, and collateral materials
• Conceptualize, communicate and fulfill added value programs
• Act as liaison between internal departments and vendors to develop and execute programs
• Work as a team with the senior manager to grow category business and create category specific programs
• Assist in the implementation of signature brand programs
• Manage project budgets

Qualifications:
• Candidate must be an enthusiastic creative thinker and team player with a solid knowledge of marketing and the media business.

• Strong written, verbal and organizational skills

SAVEUR & Garden Design Integrated Marketing Manager

The Integrated Marketing Manager will play a key role in developing integrated marketing strategies, promotions, and programs for Saveur, Saveur.com, Garden Design and GardenDesign.com. The position combines big idea/platform creation, partnership development, proposal writing, and program execution. The position will report to the Group Creative Services Director.

Responsibilities Include:
* Big Idea Generation: Collaborate with sales/marketing team to develop and sell “big idea” opportunities.
* Proposal Development & Management: Develop integrated marketing programs, bring them to life through written proposals and execute them in-book, online, and through events.
* Client Meetings: Attend sales calls to present marketing programs/platforms and client-specific opportunities.
* Partnership Development: Research and develop relationships with marketing partners.
* Event Management: Research and secure vendors, venues, and talent; managing all aspects of an event from budget to sponsor integration.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree required, 3-4 years marketing/merchandising experience, preferably in media/advertising. Strong digital and/or event experience is required.
* Extensive experience in creating and developing integrated marketing programs and platforms.
* Comprehensive knowledge of various online advertising platforms, creative executions, and current online ad serving technologies and executions is preferred.
* Must be a creative thinker, self-starter, problem solver and resourceful. Must be team player and partner to marketing & sales colleagues and management team.
* Must have strong writing skills and a background in proposal writing. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is required.
* Interest/experience in the epicurean category preferred.
* Position is full time in NYC office.

Social Media and Marketing Position – Time Out New York

Time Out New York (TONY) and TONY Kids is looking for a person experienced in the use of Social Media as a publicity tool. This person will be focused on day-to-day execution of the Social Media and Public Relations strategy, and will be a strong advocate for the brand and the community. S/he will work closely with our Editorial Department.
Core Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day management of social media presence, including working with Editorial on daily monitoring and posting of content and engaging directly with TONY & Time Out Kids staff
• Brainstorm and develop proposals for social media campaigns
• Manage and monitor branded social media accounts, (i.e. YouTube, Facebook, etc.)
• Identify and report on digital community and social media activities of competitors and also trends across the publishing industry
• Work closely with Business Intelligence team to track and evaluate the success of social media integrations and initiatives
• Write press releases to announce company news and promote the magazines’ partnerships to the media
• Pitch stories to appropriate news outlets and secure weekly interviews for the editorial staff to promote each new issue of the magazines
• Coordinate all materials for three weekly network television segments, including procuring b-roll, booking in studio guests, and entertainment
• Research and fact-check all events covered on the magazine’s weekly segments and prepare interview materials for the editorial staff
• List and publicize all Time Out New York and Time Out New York Kids events through broadcast, print and online media outlets
• Maintain relationships with appropriate contacts at local and national radio, television and newspapers
• Responsible for internal press communication
Professional Requirements:
• 2-4 years’ experience in public relations (PR) or social media marketing (preferably both)
• Bachelors Degree (BA) in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or equivalent
• Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter in a professional capacity; understanding of Internet technologies
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Must be passionate about position and brand, and value a collaborative environment
• Must be self-motivated, ambitious and demonstrate the ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess superior time management and organizational skills
• Must have solid editorial judgment
• Experience with Microsoft and MAC computer programs, including Excel
