Entertainment Weekly is looking for an Integrated Marketing Director to oversee planning, creation, and execution of integrated marketing platforms and initiatives designed to generate advertising revenue.
Specific responsibilities will include:
• Work with key advertising categories and develop solution-based programs to grow advertising revenue
• Manage RFP process; assess and evaluate opportunities; and provide client-ready responses to successfully support the sales team and win the business
• Conceptualize and write proactive larger-scale, custom integrated presentations and proposals.
• Attend client sales calls to present integrated marketing concepts.
• Develop relationships with third party organizations and vendors to enhance arsenal of integrated marketing offerings for the brand.
• Manage communication of market research trends to sales team and clients. Work with Corporate Research to analysis primary and secondary brand and competitive research.
• Develop and produce marketing materials to support sales including presentations, proposals, in-magazine advertorials, and promotional materials.
• Manage and supervise Integrated Marketing Manager

The ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experience:
• Minimum 8+ year’s experience, preferably in magazine sales/marketing.
Experience in entertainment category a plus.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Extensive understanding in research (syndicated and primary research)
• Strong motivator with ability to conceptualize unique platforms on his/her feet.
• Exceptional proposal writing and presentation skills with extensive background generating multi-platform, integrated programs.
• Organization, creativity and ability to communicate clearly with sales staff, team members, advertising clients and vendors.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all brands in the Time Inc Style & Entertainment Group.
• Candidate must be an enthusiastic creative thinker and team player.

Associate Director, Integrated Marketing – People

The Associate Director will develop sales, marketing and promotional strategies for the PEOPLE Group including PEOPLE, PEOPLE.com and StyleWatch –collaborating with both the print and online sales teams for the Beauty category. The position combines creative “big” idea/platform creation, partnership development, presentation skills as well as strong program execution.

Primary Responsibilities:


• Category development: Work with Senior Director on development of category-specific strategies including competitive landscape/sales opportunities

• Presentation development and execution: Work with various departments (i.e. strategic research department, creative services and events) to create compelling proposals, presentations, marketing concepts and/or positioning

• Client Meetings: Accompany sales team on sales calls to present marketing platforms and client-specific opportunities

• Program Management: Responsible for creating and managing category programs (i.e. retail, event, etc.)

• Management: Oversee and manage Associate Manager and Integrated Marketing Associate

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required, minimum 9 years marketing experience, preferably in media/advertising.
• Knowledge of the Beauty category and relationships preferred
• Team player, self-starter who is also extremely innovative, professional and resourceful
• Ideal candidate must be highly proactive and solution-oriented
• Must have strong creative skills and extensive experience in developing compelling integrated marketing programs for the beauty category
• Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel

Time Inc. Branded Solutions is looking for an enthusiastic, focused person to develop sales and marketing materials supporting our integrated and digital marketing efforts and forwarding Time Inc.’s position in the marketplace.

The Associate Director of Sales Development will be responsible for developing presentations, marketing materials, and overall sales support for the integrated and digital advertising efforts of the Branded Solutions team.

We are looking for a self-starter, who can think strategically and creatively to turn facts and statistics into a compelling story. This person must be an excellent writer and communicator and should have strong working knowledge of magazine, online and mobile media and be on top of trends driving the media market.

This position will report to the VP, Marketing.

Responsibilities:
• Stay current and keep the team informed on all Time Inc. brand programs and offerings across all platforms
• Work closely with the sales, marketing and product teams to develop compelling, concise material to bring Time Inc.’s proposition, products and offerings to life and to market
• Collaborate on development of ad sales materials and collateral, incorporating research data where necessary
• Work with Time Inc. Research & Insights to gain the background and insights that will best support Time Inc.’s story – including audience, competitive position, key category, etc.

Candidate Profile:
• Candidates must have at least 7+ years of successful sales development, marketing, or agency experience
• Experience at a digital agency or media content site and the selling of cross-platform programs desirable
• Must have excellent writing skills along with strong creative marketing & story-telling skills
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation skills, and be an enthusiastic and collaborative team player
• Must possess a working knowledge of research tools used in the marketplace (e.g. comScore MediaMetrix, Nielsen NetRatings, Omniture, MRI, etc.).
• Strong time management and organizational skills are essential
• Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Research Director, Forbes Insights

Lead Forbes research position responsible for the design, implementation and analysis of thought leadership research both to support the Forbes brand and to meet paid-for custom research obligations that drive revenue for the Forbes Insights Group. Research Analyst – Forbes Media

The Market Research group at Forbes Media is seeking a Research Analyst to join the team. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, fulfilling day-to-day research requests from Sales and Marketing with syndicated and primary research that will support the Forbes print/digital advertising and marketing efforts. The position reports to the Director of Research.

The idea candidate will have 1-2 years of print and/or digital research experience with a media company or an agency.
Must know the leading media syndicated research such as MRI, MMR, TNS’s PIB, At Plan, ComScore Media Metrix, as well as other types of syndicated research.
Be familiar with ROI concepts such as ad effectiveness research from Insights Express, ComScore, Dynamic logic, etc.
Proactively manage various research projects from start to finish
Experience with primary research a plus, but not necessary

We are looking for someone who is a team player, and who has strong problem-solving skills. In addition the candidate must have strong computer skills, verbal and written communication skills, and is highly organized that can handle high-volume and time-sensitive research.
