Role & Responsibilities:
• Serve as team lead for Food, Retail, Pet and Entertainment categories including:
o Create all related RFPs and category presentations, key research insights and sales collateral for HEALTH assets

o Collaborate with Sales team to grow business and create new integrated franchises for Food, Retail, Pet and Entertainment

• Manage and oversee planning and execution for HEALTH signature events, including but not limited to Wanderlust Yoga & Music Festival and new 2013 programming
o Source event venues, negotiate contracts, logistical event planning, track and report results
o Manage and make recommendations for event budgets
o Manage promotion of event including all print, digital, and social media campaigns
o Manage client sponsorship, integration and activation within pre- and post-media as well as on-site
• This position reports to Director, Integrated Marketing

Qualifications:
• 5-7 years experience in magazine/digital marketing and event planning and execution
• Expertise in event planning/execution
• Experience in marketing the Food, Retail, Pet and Entertainment categories
• In-depth understanding of print and digital-based marketing & sales development
• Understanding of syndicated and proprietary research (MRI, MMR, AdMeasure, @Plan)
• Copywriting and art direction for promotions inbook and online
• Balance of strategic and creative ability, strong interpersonal skills and a track record of formulating and implementing idea-selling initiatives
