Town & Country seeks a Senior Manager or Director-level Integrated Marketing candidate who will be responsible for the strategy and development of integrated marketing and added-value programs across multiple categories

Programs will span all platforms – including but not limited to: custom creative concepts, in-book promotions, events, digital integrations, social media extensions, and more.

The Integrated Marketing, Senior Manager or Director will:

  • Write proposals
  • Execute sold programs
  • Develop ideas for new, multi-advertiser programs, including developing budgets, writing sell sheets, etc.
  • Manage day-to-day requests from Sales Staff
  • Attend sales calls to present above-referenced programs to clients and agencies
  • Manage project budgets and timelines

The ideal candidate will have strong communications skills (writing and presenting) and will be extremely creative and quick to generate ideas.  The candidate must work well under time pressures, be organized and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.  Travel may be required, depending upon business needs.

Position Summary

Description:

Provide Meredith magazine brand with strategic research leadership and consultation. Manage research needs for magazine marketing and advertising sales teams. Individual will be the lead research advocate for the brand and the main contact for all research discussions regarding brand positioning and strategy.

Specific responsibilities include: recommending research solutions for advertising challenges, developing research concepts and strategies based on goals and objectives, recommending methodologies, managing vendor relations and ensuring projects are executed within budget. Responsibilities entail project management and execution of advertising accountability initiatives, usage of Meredith Reader Panel to assess consumer behavior, reader insights and engagement metrics.

This position is part of the Brand Strategy Group, Advertising Research, a growing segment of the Meredith Research Solutions Department. The Research Manager will work in conjunction the Associate Research Director, Brand Strategy, in setting goals and strategic planning regarding brand support.

Education/

Experience:

BA/BS required. To qualify you must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in primary and syndicated research design, analysis and reporting, project management; Prior experience in print media research, advertising/media planning or vendor/supplier a must

Skills and Abilities:

Requires strong written and verbal communication skills; strategic thinker with developed analytical skills,Proficiency in analyzing data, interpreting results and communicating findings, fundamental understanding of both qualitative/quantitative research methodologies. Should be comfortable interfacing with staff and clients.

  • Conceptualize and write integrated marketing and digital only proposals in response to advertiser RFPs

Promotion administration and execution for Vogue Promotions department
