Drive ad sales revenue through development of digital marketing programs that support advertiser objectives and enhance audience value across InStyle.com.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize custom digital marketing programs for the beauty, European fashion, jewelry, automotive, travel and consumer electronics categories
• Communicate marketing concepts and programs by writing proposals, presentations and one sheets
• Create mockups for proposals
• Work with integrated marketing to develop marketing programs across the brand
• Work with other Time Inc. titles to develop integrated, cross-brand concepts
• Implement solutions post-sale in conjunction with production team
• Capture category needs and proactively identify new digital opportunities that leverage edit, product and external vendor capabilities
• Attend and represent team at internal and external meetings

• At least 3 years of successful digital marketing and sales/support experience

Responsibilities:

-Manage contracts, archives, and client requests for the Vice President of Sales.

-Organize accounts, track creative and gather leads to generate new business.

-Participate in creating marketing materials for sales team.

-Provide support for real estate and companywide events.

-Manage mailings and distribution for all print properties.

 

Qualifications:

Qualifications:
– 10+ years marketing experience including 4+ years digital/mobile. Strong social experience a plus.
– Experience creating and executing multiple retail marketing partnerships and programs.
– Imaginative thinker and leader capable of independently driving the brand’s marketing agenda, while at the same time demonstrating keen ability and willingness to partner
– Experienced, resourceful manager capable of leading a small marketing team to produce excellent work efficiently, collaboratively and nimbly
– Extensive background generating multi-platform programs.

Job Description

Rodale is seeking an Associate Marketing Manager to work in our New York-based Marketing Department for Women’s Health. The overall goal of the Associate Marketing Manager position is to write merchandising proposals and manage program executions that will help attract, maintain and increase both print and digital advertising business across a variety of categories.

Responsibilities include:

  • Write integrated merchandising proposals, marketing presentations and sales materials for category specific clients
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with sales and account management teams to answer RFPs
  • Act as partner with sales reps to develop sales strategy and drive category growth
  • Spearhead the execution of all aspects of individual client programs (e.g. digital extensions, events, sponsorships, mailing, samplings, etc.)
  • Collaborate with team on signature events, managing the execution of specific advertiser integrations for each program
  • Work within established budget guidelines and manage costs for all projects
  • Manage production schedules for projects and produce excellent work within a deadline-oriented department
  • Prepare program summaries upon completion of executed activities
  • Act as legal liaison as it pertains to sweepstakes rules and internal questions

Qualifications:

  • College degree (required)
  • 2 years minimum integrated industry or related experience
  • Positive attitude, solid work ethic, tenacious follow through
  • Close attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
  • High energy with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Polished presentation skills
  • Awareness of current culture as it relates to the brands and relevant promotional opportunities
