Overall Responsibilities:

  • Identify and capitalize on sales and marketing opportunities that drive revenue growth and expand market penetration for both print and digital properties.
  • Creation of Maxim brand presentations – getting advertisers to understand what Maxim has to offer and bring to the table as a media and marketing company.
  • Develop compelling sales category or custom advertiser specific presentations for Maxim’s print and digital business.
  • Develop a broad understanding of all the assets Maxim has to bring to customers, so as to leverage these in sales efforts.
  • Work with Management to prioritize and identify new business opportunities (categories and accounts) that will drive the greatest return on investment for the sales effort.
  • Create and oversee the production of all ad sales materials and collateral, incorporating research data where necessary.
  • Create a database of case studies that can be used as future sales tools
  • Attend sales calls and present where appropriate


Qualifications:

  • Must be a creative thinker who has a strong understanding of how to translate the long term business objectives of advertisers into solutions.
  • A solid skill set of writing, editing, idea creation and organization is essential
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required
  • Understanding of research is a must.
