Required Skill-Set:

Men’s Health and Women’s Health are currently seeking an eager, self-starting integrated marketing professional to work in our New York-based Marketing Department. The Marketing Services Associate will work across brand platforms to facilitate and manage the timely flow and production of a wide range of marketing, sales and program materials. The position reports to the Executive Director, Marketing.

Responsibilities include:

§ Monitor all sales, marketing and program collateral and facilitate updates in partnership with other appropriate department members

§ Write, edit and traffic copy for sales collateral and other marketing materials

§ Finish and tweak collateral designs under the supervision of the Art Director and/or other members of the art department

§ Maintain central materials library (both electronic and hard copy, when appropriate)

§ Maintain visual integrity of the Men’s Health and Women’s Health brands across materials and platforms

§ Work closely with members of art department to monitor current design and visual trends

§ Manage all aspects of monthly in-book promotional pages

§ Working within established budget guidelines and managing costs for projects

The ideal candidate will possess:

§ 1-3 years experience working in an integrated environment

§ Close attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment

§ Fast, clever copy writing and editing skills

§ Digital and print design experience

§ Working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, After Effects

§ A strong, well presented portfolio with excellent typography skills

Overall Responsibilities:

We’ll rely on you to prepare correspondence, proposals, advertising space reservations and media kits. Additional responsibilities will include organizing and maintaining department files, handling telephone inquiries and routing messages and making and following-through on travel arrangements. Responsibilities include:

• Idea generation and creative proposal writing for a variety of categories

Qualifications:

Attention to detail is necessary to manage multiple executions across platforms which include tight timelines, strict budgets, and working with clients to obtain approvals.
