The Senior Promotion Manager will be responsible for working closely with the Marketing Director and sales staff to write high level proposals as well as develop and execute custom marketing and added value programs for Family Circle advertisers. This role will also work on developing and executing Family Circle’s consumer and brand events. This role also works closely with the internal art department to develop comps, sell sheets and event collateral materials. This position will directly impact the sales process and may be asked to attend sales calls when necessary. The Senior Promotion Manager will be required to work with many other departments at Meredith in addition to the Family Circle Sales & Marketing Staff including: digital, circulation, database, production, research as well other marketing departments.This position requires daily contact withinternal customers (primarily Ad Sales) as well as with external customers.  Excellent interpersonal skills and follow through are essential.

Minimum 5 years experience. Must have been responsible for writing proposals and creating/executing Marketing programs and events for at least 2-3 years. Must have working knowledge of digital/social/mobile opportunities as well as retail activations.
