Food Network Magazine is seeking a Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing to respond to all assigned RFPs, provide Marketing support to assigned sales reps and write, develop and execute proposals and programs that meet the needs of advertisers in order to generate paging and revenue goals. Other responsibilities are listed below.
· Responsible for working directly with assigned sales reps, as well as counterparts at Food Network and Foodnetwork.com on integrated proposals/programs
· Provide added-value and ideation on revenue generating programs, promotional partnerships and advertorial sections.
· Oversee programs once it has been sold ensuring that the client’s brand, our brand and the program is properly represented and executed. This includes recipe development, photo shoot supervision, etc.
· Supervise and attend FNM events to ensure seamless integration of advertiser sponsorship
· Work with production team, fulfillment companies, creative services and other internal personnel to ensure the timely delivery of client assets and work directly with clients to obtain approvals.
· Accompany sales reps on sales calls with marketing focus
· Supervise Interns
· Maintain list of new/upcoming and available talent for advertorials
· Collaborate with Food Network and Foodnetwork.com on all integrated ad sales opportunities

Must have at least 3+ years of marketing experience and proposal writing.

Job Summary: The Associate Manager, Events and Activation manages the program execution and event activation for the American Baby, FamilyFun, and Parents brands.

Working closely with Marketing Director, this role involves a high level of interaction with clients, internal Meredith colleagues, and external vendors. A consistent professional, positive and helpful attitude is essential to maintain best in class service in the marketplace.

Responsibilities include:

Program Execution:
· Execute sold integrated marketing programs across the Meredith Parents Network involving print, digital, tablet, mobile and experiential elements
· Execute sold added value by working with internal and third party vendors
· Work closely with the Art Department and oversee the advertorial and in-book special section process including: writing, design and timelines
· Work with legal to draft and adhere to sweepstakes and contest rules for necessary programs
· Create and uphold execution timelines with internal and external parties

Event Planning and Execution:
· Assist with all Meredith Parents Network events such as National Sales Meetings, Smuggler’s Notch Winter Carnival, Baby Expos and trade shows, among others
· Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, collateral creation, onsite activation, and vendor management
· Update staff on commitment and material deadlines

Other Responsibilities:
· Maintain and explore Meredith Parents Network partnerships and keep abreast of current opportunities (Baby Expos, Mom Events, Family Events and more)
· Liaise with the art department to update sell sheets for all MPN programs, communicate updates to the staff

Essential Job Functions

Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:
All must be met to be considered.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent training and/or experience

Experience:
Three to four years of magazine marketing/event experience
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in all Microsoft programs necessary
Must be a creative and strategic thinker with the ability to execute customer-focused merchandising programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong business and promotional copywriting skills
Strong project management skills
Ability to work well with sales and marketing staff, other internal departments, clients and outside vendors
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Must be highly organized with attention to detail
Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
