Brief Job Description: While working as the only forward facing customer point of contact, the customer service associate works to process and fulfill all orders on ShopBAZAAR.com. This position will own and develop the ShopBAZAAR customer service experience into a high-touch, insightful and highly engaged role that interacts with our top shoppers and VIPs, driving increased revenue. The right candidate will have a passion for the fashion industry and be forward thinking in providing style advice for ShopBAZAAR clients. This associate pulls our monthly sales reports and manages invoicing our vendors. All warehouse/fulfillment relations (ie: Stellae Logistics) will be managed by the customer service associate.

 

Customer Service Responsibilities:

  • Provide client style advice, using BAZAAR’s editorial authority
  • Create and manage a customer Loyalty Program
  • Develop a high-touch shopping experience at ShopBAZAAR
  • Order Processing and Fulfillment
  • Manage and oversee Customer Service & FAQ elements of the site
  • Manage and facilitate return requests
  • Managing Credit Card Processing via Authorize.Net
  • Customer Service Relations (phone + email)
  • Manage and create promo codes
  • Managing Stellae Relationship
  • Maintaining consignment stock in closet

 

Vendor Relation Responsibilities:

  • Arrange drop shipping
  • Ensure order fulfillment
  • Pull Sales Reports on a monthly basis

 

Administrative Operations:

  • Invoice each order that has been placed
  • Track processing orders to ensure shipment
  • Keep track of all returns and cancellations

ShopBAZAAR.com, Harper’s BAZAAR ecommerce site, is looking for a Digital Editor with editorial and retail writing skills to serve as a key member of the ShopBAZAAR.com team.

 

This person will be responsible for all copy related to ShopBAZAAR. This includes website copy, email copy, on-site art assets, product descriptions, blog, plus 4+ pages per month that speak about ShopBAZAAR in Harper’s BAZAAR print magazine. This person will work closely with our Senior Merchandising Editor to assist with editorial trends that will be featured across ShopBAZAAR marketing channels and our Designer to ensure the ShopBAZAAR voice is heard creative designs.  This person will bridge the gap between ShopBAZAAR and Bazaar.com, facilitating a seamless experience between content and commerce via integration of original and repurposed content from ShopBAZAAR on Bazaar.com. The ability to work with many departments, inclusive of marketing, advertising, merchandising and edit and have exceptional project and time management skills is required.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Website Edit/Copy: email newsletters, fashion editing, blog writing/editing, product descriptions (editor’s notes), copywriting for onsite content – mantles/sliders/homepage/tiles
  • In-Book Copy: ShopBAZAAR editorial pages, ShopBAZAAR marketing & advertiser programs
  • Bazaar.com Copy: Integrate ShopBAZAAR on Bazaar.com via shopping modules, trends, shopping stories, #The LIST weekly features, designer interviews
  • Stylist emails: field all style questions that come in through customer service
  • Collaborate with Social Media Manager on programs to ensure seamless voice on ShopBAZAAR social channels
  • Provide assistance to Senior Merchandising Editor on email creative and concepts

 

Skills:

  • 2-3 years of copywriting and edit experience (digital and/or print)
  • Ability to multi-task and execute against tight deadlines with precision and attention to detail
  • 1-2 years of SEO writing experience

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ideate and develop custom solutions in response to digital RFPs, collaborating with Sales, Ad Product & Solutions, Content Strategy, Editorial, Ad Operations, Media Planning, and Project Management
· Liaise with Magazine colleagues throughout the process, imparting digital expertise on integrated sales and marketing brand teams
· Bring the above solutions to life in a compelling pitch deck that strongly articulates the reason for and benefit of the proposed strategy
· Attend client meetings to present digital opportunities as needed
· Develop expertise at category and client level and share knowledge and best practices across the larger marketing team

· Participate in the creation of sales strategy against a client or relevant category, and create proactive opportunities for relevant accounts
· Facilitate turnover of sold digital program to Project Manager and/or executive producer. Stay connected to sold programs throughout the execution phase to ensure quality of execution and program success.
· Stay abreast of the marketplace competition and digital innovations
IDEAL CANDIDATE
· Can quickly synthesize an array of objectives and inputs to determine the right, executable solution
· Understands and has relevant experience with luxury advertisers
· Has superior written and verbal presentation skills, and is comfortable interfacing with internal and external clients
· Has strong prioritization and time management skills (manage to multiple deadlines and meeting requests across departments)
REQUIREMENTS
· 3+ years Digital Media Marketing and Advertising experience and a Bachelor’s Degree
· Proven experience solving advertiser objectives in a media and content environment.
· Strong knowledge of digital sales and marketing dynamics and processes
· Strong PowerPoint, Keynote and Excel required; Photoshop and InDesign a plus
· Knowledge of @plan, comScore, Adobe Analytics a plus

We are looking for a dynamic and high energy sales professional who will be responsible for achieving advertising revenue goals while covering account assignments at NY based advertising agencies.

You Will:

  • Work closely with the Integrated and Digital Sales Directors on all aspects of the business
