Prevention – Senior Integrated Marketing Manager May 7, 2012
Prevention is seeking a Senior Integrated Marketing Manager to join our New York integrated marketing team. This position reports to the Marketing Director. The overall goal of the Senior Marketing Manager is to attract, maintain and increase advertising revenue from categories including OTC, DTC, financial, automotive, travel, associations/causes, and a variety of NY-based accounts for the Prevention brand (both print and online) through added-value/merchandising enhancements and marketing programs. This person would also be responsible for business and partnership development and have advanced knowledge of the digital space, including special units, out of the box ideas and digital-driven programs to increase digital revenue for the Prevention.com brand.
• Conception of ideas and crafting of fully integrated proposals – Digital knowledge and ideation required • Create proposals in response to RFPs (added value and integrated). Includes customization of Prevention programs, and creation of original programs • Business and partnership development with new companies that will help build revenue for the print and digital space, as well as the profile of the Prevention brand • Work closely with sales staff to create custom programs for clients. Includes researching budgets, producing timelines, working with partners and implementation of sold programs • Merchandising program execution working closely with sales reps, clients and marketing team members to execute or oversee the execution of sold programs from start to finish • Track program progress and prepare final reports for internal use and for clients • Assist with the creation and production of sales materials at the direction of Executive Marketing Director, write and manage production of category specific sales support materials including media kit sheets, sell sheets, presentations, mailings and other program collateral
Ideal candidate will possess:
• College degree required • 6+ years of strong digital marketing experience • Very strong writing and presentation skills • Strong writing and copy writing skills, organization with attention to detail • Strong knowledge of Food, Pharmaceutical, Beauty, Personal Care and Retail categories (but not limited to) • Facility with standard department software: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Acrobat • Detail oriented, organized and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
