Responsibilities:
• Strategize with sales and marketing teams to develop category and brand presentations to garner incremental and new business
• Work closely with digital counterpart to craft/fine tune the Cooking Light brand story based on syndicated and proprietary research findings
• Analyze and release MRI, MMR, and Admeasure data when released to sales and marketing teams in a concise manner along with talking points, sales materials and advertiser results
• Respond to research requests from the sales and marketing teams for RFP’s and presentations, including syndicated runs and marketplace & industry information
• Primary contact for reader panel team for the brand, direct research efforts, and package results for sales team
• Responsible for monitoring advertising and category trends relevant to the brand and advertisers and presenting them to the sales and marketing team
• Work closely with Associate Publisher on the development of any needed sales collateral and brand positioning tools including, but not limited to proprietary research and packaging, media kit sheets, sell sheets, etc.
• Brainstorm with the Integrated Marketing team on custom marketing solutions and develop supporting research/industry insights to strengthen the idea

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 – 7 years marketing experience, preferably in media/advertising
• Candidate must be an enthusiastic creative thinker and team player with a solid knowledge of marketing, print research and the media business with a concentration on women’s business
• Must be resourceful, proactive, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written, verbal and organizational skills
• Computer skills including PowerPoint, Word and Excel

Creative Department Intern:
