Condé Nast is looking for a Freelance Marketing Research Associate for BRIDES.  The Marketing Research Department is responsible for overall marketing strategy, presentations and research in order to secure advertising sales for BRIDES magazine, Brides.com and Brides Local Magazines.

Reporting to the Marketing Research Director, this position encompasses assisting in the creation of category and account specific presentations; analyzing/interpreting research data; helping in the development of customized research studies; and regular updating and development of sales materials for the sales staff.

This position is in a fast-paced, multi-platform environment and requires an Associate who:

· Has strong analytical and math skills

· Can analyze data, draw conclusions and weave results into sales pieces

· Has top-notch written and verbal communication skills

· Is very comfortable with PowerPoint and Excel programs

Basic Qualifications:

· Undergraduate degree

· 2+ years of media research experience at either a media research company, publisher or advertising agency

· Familiarity and experience with media-based syndicated data (e.g. MRI, ABC, Halls, TNS/PIB, Affinity VISTA or Starch, comScore, NetRatings, @Plan, Flurry, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

· Understanding of typical women’s categories (e.g. beauty, fashion, jewelry, health & fitness, etc.)
