Seeking:

Seasoned marketing professional with extensive media background and advanced proposal writing skills to play a senior-level role within a team that develops and executes integrated consumer campaigns across media platforms.

Responsibilities Include:

·         Conceptualize and create bespoke integrated marketing initiatives through the lens of Coned Nast media brands

o   Develop macro-strategies

o   Employ across media (print, digital, mobile, social, etc.)

o   Enhance via strategic extensions (e.g. alliances, talent, events, CRM tactics)

·         Articulate these ideas via written proposals and presentations that effectively communicate concept & deliverables

o   “Quarterback” development process (liaise with internal departments at all levels)

·         Attend and present ideas at client/agency meetings

·         Oversee execution of sold programs

o   Client communications

o   Internal activations

o   Strategic alliances/talent

o   Backend management

o   Vendors/production companies

·         Manage direct report (Integrated Marketing Manager)

·         Proactively deliver innovative ideas (especially in the digital/new media space)

·         Foster external relationships to further creative output

Promotions & Integrated Marketing Internship – Travel + Leisure February 11, 2010

Promotions/Integrated Marketing Overview:  The Promotions team works closely with sales, research, integrated marketing, events, art, and special sections in an effort to maintain the voice of the magazine across all written and verbal communications.  The Promotion team acts as gatekeeper to the integrity of the Travel + Leisure brand and plays a vital role in both sales and marketing.  To ensure consistent messaging to current and potential advertisers, the team creates sell sheets, presentations, letters, speeches, and mailings.
The Integrated Marketing group works closely with sales to generate revenue by developing marketing programs that use Travel + Leisure’s authority and connection with readers to address the goals and objectives of advertisers.  To achieve this, the team creates proposals and develops marketing programs that extend the advertiser’s presence beyond the pages of the magazine through online, direct mail, events and other marketing touchpoints.
Promotions Responsibilities:
• Execute promotional mailings
• Assist in maintenance and distribution of sales materials
• Choose and scan art/edit for presentations
• Assist on select design projects such as sell sheets, presentations, and cover blow-ups
• Assemble media kits
• Manage department administration such as inventory tracking, presentation printing and binding, etc.
 
Integrated Marketing Responsibilities:
• Manage the trafficking and organization of sales requests through database management
• Assist with the implementation of various advertiser events and programs, including coordination of invitations, RSVPs, event logistics, signage and on-site execution
• Assist in writing of merchandising proposals
• Manage department administration
Skills:
•  Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of both Macs and PCs, familiarity with graphics programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator a plus

Notes:  This is a paid internship.  Intern will be an integral part of both the Promotion and Merchandising departments, reporting to the Promotion and Integrated Marketing Directors.
